Work Like the Tortoise, Not the Hare Footstool

Here's my project for Wit & Whimsey at Seasons on St. Croix Gallery.  I found this charming handmade turtle at an occasional sale.  If was fun to give it a new paint job and replace the old fabric with a custom hooked rug.

Wit and Whimsey will run for the month of March 2013. Over 30 artists have made pieces especially for this exhibit.
